If you’re not familiar with CSS Naked Day, it’s basically a day where web developers strip all the visual styles from their site in order to demonstrate how awesome* their XHTML is. One of the mantras of web standards is that a website’s content should be accessible even without a pretty visual design, and, similarly, that the content contains no presentational elements (background images, tables for layouts, blinks & marquees etc). It’s always interesting to see how other people’s sites degrade, and it’s a good yearly reminder to check how well your own site degrades.
